I can connect to my ISP via the kernel PPP (FBSD 4.2), but using the same account in userland ppp, ppp logs a pap/chap authentication FAILURE?! What is going wrong? How can I get rid of unwanted dial ins of kernel ppp? There are only a view bytes sent, then the connection goes down. netstat -nt does not show any connections via isp0.
