I'm looking for a tool(set) that I can use to alert me via email / SMS of changes on my FreeBSD system. I also need a way to re-format reports and logs so I can pump the relevant bits to my mobile phone.. If you've tried some tool(set)s, perhaps you can reply with some reviews? And.. under windows, one can write a program that gets notified by the OS whenever a certain file changes.. Is this possible under FreeBSD?
