The patch for bug 220562 is included in this patch according to the list of
changes (see comment #75).

I believe it's still true: for instance, it tries to attach the external
keyboard through evdev, ukdb and kbdmux (I only have xf86-input-libinput
installed).

I'm using xf86-video-modesetting and Glamor when I use the i915 GPU on my
laptop and it's working great so far.
