In=20 addition, that is a big jump going from 3.1 to 3.2. Whether you should=20 pkg_delete kde-3.1 and add 3.2 from scratch is something I can't=20 answer. > is there anything else to do? You will also probably want to download the packages from=20 http://rabarber.fruitsalad.org/. I have always downloaded the files=20 before I start because I want everything I need on my system before I=20 begin. Now, if you updated your ports lately, You system may not want to=20 install 3.2.0 but 3.2.1 and fruitsalad only has packages for 3.2.0. You=20 might wait until the 3.2.1 packages are on fruitsalad. =46WIW, I am typing this from kmail in 3.2.1 and I used 2 - AMD 2400+ XPs=20 to build 3.2.1 in 7 hours elapsed time. I probably could have built=20 3.2.1 faster using portupgrade -R kde but I had some problems and ended=20 building each module individually and moved packages between the 2=20 machines. I built each module once by sharing the packages. There=20 wasn't a lot of time between building each module but you never seem to=20 be there just when they finish.
