(700mhz Celeron, 128MB, 60GB RAM) and certain programs "hang" when they get started. They include Pine, Sendmail, and ftpd (when a client connects). Looking in top, the process sits in the state kqread, and after about 90 seconds, and then respond and run normally. I compiled a new kernel from the src/sys directory installed from the CD, but the behavior is the same. Any ideas?
