See the FreeBSD Handbook, section 5, "Configuring the FreeBSD Kernel".  I 
assume you have Web access...:-)

You don't use inetd for dialup.  You would use something like `slattach'
for SLIP or `ppp' for PPP.  See the respective man pages for more
information.  IMHO, ppp (aka ijppp aka User Mode PPP) is a better way of
doing things if your ISP provides PPP service.
