Essentially, a seemingly well-configured ZFS system residing on a GPT partition is not detected by zfsloader. The formatted message is posted in the forums at http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=148989 for your convenience, and the original message reproduced below, while the output might be difficult to distinguish. = = = = = = = = ======================================================================== I'm trying to boot from a ZFS pool on GPT partition. Thoughts? = = = = = = = = ======================================================================== Once again, I thank you for the time and the attention that you bring to my issue and any light that you may be able to shed on this; I am fairly certain that it is an oversight, unfortunately I don't understand enough about the process at this point to be able to formulate a hypothesis.
