Subject:   Pioneer DVDR 105 issues

The only way I can get the system to boot up fully is by closing the drive
door to prevent a ata timeout hang. 

Motherboard is a via p4x266

Heres my dmesg. If theres more debugging info you need let me know.

Im also having to boot with ACPI disabled and USB disabled in my bios
otherwise im getting all kinds of problems with USB the onboard sound and
DVD-RAM.
