I am new to FreBSD and I am having no luck in installing. I have =
tried version 4.0 and 3.4. It has apparently been installed on this PC =
before so I don't think I am having hardware problems. I do go into =
Start kernel config in full screen mode and delete devices that have =
conf next to them.

I then proceed with a Novice install. I am using all of the disk so I =
let the fdisk autoconfigure. I select bootMgr. I also let the disk =
label auto configure. I select all in the distribuitons I then get an =
error:
Installation completed with some errors. You may wish to scroll =
through the debugging messages on VTY1 with the scoll-lock feature....

I look through the VTY1 terminal but do not see anything abnormal

then when I reboot I get a=20
no /boot/loader
No /kernel

and then a boot: Prompt
