X-Mailer: VM 6.33 under Emacs 19.34.1 Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello, I know this thread came up about a week ago and I have a follow-up question. I've sent mail off to support@cdrom.com asking with was going to happen for FreeBSD subscribers w.r.t. 2.2.8 vs 3.0 when they're both released around each other next month. The response I got seemed to indicate that there was (supposedly) some sort of "card" in my 2.2.7 package (which there wasn't). I'm assuming this card was to be sent in directing cdrom.com what to do on the next subscription. But in the same breath, the person from cdrom.com said: "Your FreeBSD subscription will by default include 2.2.8 and all versions after 3.0 (but not including 3.0)." It just isn't clear what is going to go on--is there some sort of card we were supposed to have gotten and return to cdrom.com that will tell them we don't want 2.2.8 but rather 3.0? Can anyone shed anymore light to this because at least this correspondance with cdrom.com created more questions than it answered (I was also referred to "info@cdrom.com" for further "questions on the matter").
