On Proliant DL360 I had a problem with sio. Input/output was jammed for 20-40 seconds every 1-3 minutes. On the FIDO group I found a few reports like mine. After a discussion it was offered to change sio driver with uart. After I do so, the problem gone. It's a common serial port. Nothing special.
