But that doesn't make sense either. For example look
at /usr/ports/graphics/gqview/Makefile.  I use this
example because I have installed this port. If we were
using a standard make utility then when a user types
"make" in this directory, since no target was
specified, make should go to the first target
encountered, which in this case is pre-patch,
regardless of the fact that bsd.port.mk is included.
But clearly this is not what happens. So my question
is why does this not happen? What is causing the
"default" action?
