basicly dialing automaticly won't work for some reason, I tried a program called xisp to configure pppd, it also came with an bare bones termal that you can invoke as your chat script for pppd, well I got loged on but IP nagotiatiomn fails: here the options I use

lock
domain sirinet.net
ipcp-accept-local
ipcp-accept-remote
crtscts
defaultroute
debug
modem
/dev/cuaa2
38400
noipdefault
user linux 

you'd think that would eliminate any demands on my side,
