I was pretty disgusted when I could not get anywhere with FreeBSD and the Tecra 8000. I stopped trying FreeBSD and I stopped recommending or specifying Toshiba Laptops. (Non standard cost reduction to keyboard interface) If you have no one else to try, I could download and attempt another install.
