And for a while on CURRENT (after the new ATA stuff was committed I think) I was unable to boot on my T40p; it would freeze after outputting disk information. I don't know *exactly* what the output looked like, but in any case I was about to submit a PR but it was already fixed by the time I got around to doing it. Of course this was CURRENT and I don't think the new ATA system is in STABLE. But on the other hand I don't know if that was the cause of the problem.
