I can't make mount_smbfs to work with the -N switch (ie read its
passwords from ~/.nsmbrc)

sudo mount_smbfs -I IP-address //petre@netbios_name/share /mnt/share
works

while

sudo mount_smbfs -N -I IP-address //petre@netbios_name/share /mnt/share

gives

mount_smbfs: unable to open connection: syserr = Authentication error

.nsmbrc looks like this
