Has anyone had any luck getting a parallel port ZIP drive working under -STABLE? I did everything listed in the docs that came with the ppbus stuff, and tried about 20 permutations of my kernel config. This is the best I've gotten so far (from dmesg): ppc0 at 0x378 irq 7 on isa ppc0: SMC-like chipset (ECP/EPP/PS2/NIBBLE) in ECP+EPP mode (EPP 1.9) ppi0: <generic parallel i/o> on ppbus 0 nlpt0: <generic printer> on ppbus 0 nlpt0: Interrupt-driven port vpo0: <Adaptec aic7110 scsi> on ppbus 0 Thanks, *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* | FreeBSD; the way computers were meant to be | * "The only reason I'm burning my candle at both ends, is * | that I haven't figured out how to light the middle yet."| * fullermd@futuresouth.com :-} MAtthew Fuller * | http://keystone.westminster.edu/~fullermd | *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
