with the newest kernel I've seen here on the list...

Yay!  It works.  I even manged to get it set up on the local network, as
100baseTX, and successfully pinging things...

I tried the CD with the old kernel, and the acd0 line never showed, which
is probably why it wouldn't boot past that point.
