You could hack the support with 3 additional minor functions on top of the existing 802.3 LLC code and writing a driver for your card. It's just that no one owns token ring, and it costs so much to get the necessary equipment that unless you are a major corporation, and are already locked into IBM, you aren't going to be buying it.
