i have 2 workstations that i have setup with Freebsd 2.2.5. These systems are standard computers (ie pentium 133 with 64 mb ram) not a name brand, just a custom built computer. The ps/2 mice work with windows 95 and dos, but when i format the drive and install Freebsd, using XF86Setup i cannot get the ps/2 mouse to function on either machine. i can get a standard serial mouse to work using /dev/cuaa0. but that is all. i have tried many different ps/2 mice, and even tried disabling the serial ports, to allow only the ps/2 ports to function. still no go...i even checked the bios to make sure that the ps/2 ports are turned on. i have tried all settings within XF96Setup using /dev/psm0, /dev/mouse ....etc... no go.... any ideas? thank you jeff To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
