	I'm running 4.3 just cvsupped to stable with X 4.0.3_3 installed from the 
ports and linux_base-6.1 and I'm not getting these PAM errors.  I had both of these
things installed before cvsupping to stable from 4.3 release.  I think the problem
may be elsewhere.  I did get some PAM errors after cvsupping and doing a make world
until I ran mergemaster, but I don't think this is what is causing your problem.
