When I start up qmail-smtpd using supervise, supervise hogs nearly 100% cpu. This is a FreeBSD 9 amd64 system. I am using the standard run script written by John Simpson. Everything seems to work, I can detect no error messages and my nearly identical setup on FreeBSD 6 is still running normally. I would like to ditch the older system, but until I can resolve this utilization issue I'm stuck. I google'd this problem to death and none of the situations described in those searches matches this issue. I searched the mail lists, nothing. Any idea where to go for help? Thanks Joel
