It uses a Ti TAS1020A (http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/tas1020a) connected to an AK4532VF (http://www.asahi-kasei.co.jp/akm/en/product/ak4532/ak4532.html) Interestingly it does have a 24LC64 (64kbit I2C EEPROM) but I think it only has the header data for whatever reason so it always comes up in DFU mode.
