I am booting on my scsi drive right now, and cannot easily boot from IDE (I have the L-word on it right now :-)). However, the bug in the IDE driver would cause some *interesting* problems. Give it a shot, and I am still working on trying to reproduce the signal problem. (Next step, I am going to try running in 8MB.) John dyson@freebsd.org
