Hello! I'm trying to copy users from one FreeBSD server running 3.4 to another running 4.3. Just copying the lines from /etc/passwd and /etc/master.passwd seems to set everything up correctly -- except for passwords -- I can never get the old one to work on the new machine. can this be done, or has the format changed, and I'm just screwed? thanks, mark.
