After many many hours of it doing its thing, i do a startx and was initialy happy to see text under icons and on the taskbar. Tought problem was solved. To my dismay i go into some of the desktop preferences and several of the menus had no text!?!?! What in the world is going on here? I just did a portupgrade -rf gnome2 as was partialy suggested prior to the pango part and hopefully this will correct it but now i feel snakebitten by the system. Any thoughts on this? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo! Mail - 100MB free storage! http://promotions.yahoo.com/new_mail
