There actually is a cgi I hacked up a long time for fetching FTP files but since quite a number of mirrors do not or will not run cgi scripts, I never actually made any links use it. It is in the cgi directory though. You pass it a filename relative to the FreeBSD "home" directory and it generates a page with a dowload link for each mirror. What would be nice is for the CGI to recognize an http cookie containing the user's preferred FTP mirror so you could bypass the menu. -john
