As myself and several of my comrades on #FreeBSD/Undernet told you just 15 minutes ago, YES, it does run on a "PC" such as a Compaq Presario. That question and the rest of those are ALL answered on the FreeBSD website - http://www.FreeBSD.ORG/. Perhaps you fail to comprehend the simple fact that everyone here is a volunteer (including yours truly and the folks on IRC), and that we HATE (well I THINK I speak for everyone here) answering questions that have already been answered and are available on the Web, especially those available on the main FreeBSD site.
