When I run it as a normal user it starts with an error: could not dup() a stderr: Too many open files This is presented as a message box. If you click ok and continue to try to browse, it continues normally except no images are loaded. I am using Communicator 4.04 that came in the /packages directory of the 2.2.6 cdrom from CheapBytes. I am assuming this is the same as what is on the FTP site.
