One including the ata driver in the kernel and with the Highpoint IDE controller enabled and the other with all IDE disabled (the current configuration). Please pay no attention to the unconfigured USB hardware about which the kernel complains. I didn't get around to configuring that yet. The USB has it's irq disabled in the BIOS. I don't think it's causing the stray irq7's however, because it's configuration hasn't changed between the dmesgs and the stray irq7's went away anyway. Also, no usb devices are attached.
