I did not see any thing I would suspect to be the cause of the slowdown. All powerd does on my machine is adjusting the CPU frequency. Mu Ryzen has only three possible frequencies. What I do not understand, why is powerd requesting a frequency change to a value not possible? Powerd itself hardly consumes CPU. Has a system call a problem or gets the CPU so much irritated when an illegal frequency is requested?
