I downloaded release3.1 from FTP3.Freebsd.org and put it under DOS directory c:\Freebsd.
Then I started with Freebsd boot floppy diskettes and select NOVICE. I got the error--cann't find
freebsd in the dos partition while it was there.

and select MEDIA as DOS partition.
