Just for good measure, checked my file association settings anyway, and surprisingly enough, I had actually been using gvpart this entire time. Not sure when and why I changed that. Yet, I couldn't get *any* GIFs to render, no matter how many times I restarted Konqueror or reloaded the page. Strange. Patrick
