If it was broken, I wouldn't have I'm usually not mistaken when I write something in a commit message. :-) One of the very first commits I made was to fix something forgotten even longer ago by someone else. I added a "Forgotten-by:" tag and was accused of falsely blaming a specific person in a commit message. I realized later that I was so accused not because I was wrong, but because I hadn't listed enough explicit historical references, so it only seemed wrong. -- This is my .signature which gets appended to the end of my messages.
