You need to get the programs you want to run. There is a collection of binaries of programs for FreeBSD at ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/packages-2.2.6. Also, if you installed the ports collection, they're already on you hard drive. I can't help you with that, as I don't like ports. You can also do what I do, which is get the source code for the program. You can find Apache at http://www.apache.org/dist/. Netscape, at http://home.netscape.com/. What's your problem with the NIC? Make sure it is configured on the right IRQ. If you are using the GENERIC kernel, at the boot prompt, type -cv. Go into the visual config, then go from there. If you made a custom kernel, make sure you have the right IRQ&port in yur config file. If you need more infoamtion/help, just e-mail us again.
