I think (I've not looked at them yet) that one of the pre/post commit scripts
is stripping the /a/ncvs for mail messages and if you have CVSROOT set
to anything other that /a/ncvs, the paths shown in the messages are as
Jordan's... /the/path/you/specified/src/sys... instead of src/sys...
