Wheter I boot verbose or not, the listing in /dev is the same: # ls /dev/ad6* /dev/ad6 /dev/ad6s1 /dev/ad6s1a /dev/ad6s1b /dev/ad6s1c /dev/ad6s1d /dev/ad6s1e Looks quite normal The partition is an UFS2 partition: /dev/ad6s1d on /home (ufs, NFS exported, local, soft-updates, acls) It may be the fact, that one of the first files on that filesystem was image of my old disk. Dmesg verbose and normal, and output of sysctl -b kern.geom.confxml in both cases attached.
