Good question. *As far as I know* you have to set this up on each machine. To avoid this, I setup a DHCPD server and sent the DNS addresses along with the IP address. This way, I will never have to make the change in more than one spot. It also makes adding new computers easier. If you want a specific machine to always have the same address, you can setup the DHCPD server to assign specific addresses to specific network cards. Works like a champ.
