For X11, you can (re)use the work done by the HELLUG (Hellenic Linux Users Group), which you will find at http://www.hellug.gr/ Look for the project called `graphis', an effort to make a collection of keyboard maps, and fonts available for reading and writing in Greek under XFree86. I can also send a version of lucida-typewriter (my favorite font, by far) at 12 pt that includes Greek glyphs :-) Ciao, Giorgos.
