Did you try that ? I also thought of that. I rebuilt the kernel with this option set (BTW the machine in which now is the ISDN card is indeed an SMP machine, but with very few additional components, so I doubt it's a port conflict). No luck! (I could also mail the complete config file and the dmesg output (even for both machines), if needed). I am using the isppp device.
