i'm working on network game company and researching for new platform of our next online game server.
i think linux/freebsd/solaris are the best solution for us by cost and performence.

freebsd is my primary concern, i've used freebsd for 4 years in my former product. it was great except poor thread support.

until 4.0 stable, freebsd didn't support standard posix thread so that i cannot but use GNU portable thread.

would you tell me when freebsd will support or which version freebsd is supporting standard posix thread?
