	I think you're confused as to what PNP is actually used for. PNP 
will only detect ISA cards in your system. Your sound card is a PCI 
device and therefore 'automatically' installed as far as PNP is 
concerned, ditto with your serial ports, lpt1, ect. With the laptop 
you'll probally want to be using the PCMCIA drivers, and just loud 
Luigi's sound code in, and it should all work fine.
