I fixed it. First, I was added my isp's domain name to rc.conf, and got cvsup to do something! The pink window came up but nothing happened. I clicked on the green arrow in the bottom right hand corner and got an error message "UNKOWN HOST: "CHANGE_THIS.FreeBSD.org"". Humm, I thought I had changed that in the supfile, which I did. Is there another supfile that the program is looking at??? I ran find to look for supfiles, and the only one I found that made any sense was the backup I had made and placed in my home directory. HUMMM...pwd showed I was in my home directory when I launched cvsup...was it looking at THAT supfile instead of the one in /etc??? So I cd'd to /etc and launched cvsup--guess what happened when I clicked the green arrow?? I dont think I have to tell you..... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
