We are setting up an experimental fire wall using the TIS Firewall
Toolkit version 1.3. The hardware running the firewall would be a
486 PC. The operating systems of choice are FreeBSD and Linux.

We hit a problem while running the X gateway on the FreeBSD
machine. The parent process opened the control window on the
target X11 server successfully. But when a child process also
wanted to open a window on the same top level shell, the
XtCreateManagedWidget call hung.

Is there any body out there having the same problem? Any solution?

Regards

Eddie
