I updated PORTVERSION in the Makefile and the distinfo file to build EMBOSS-2.5.1. The port configures and builds OK. However it should be noted that this port includes some optional ports that can be selected at build time, and there are problems in some of them. Selecting any of HMMER, PHYLIP, TOPO, MEME or MSE in the configuration dialog produces an error and stops the build and installtion of the EMBOSS port. A separate PR is being filed. Note that this also happened (in my hands) with the previous version of the port (2.4.1).
