If I compile a program with the -aout switch to cc I am unable to use gdb to debug it under 3.0.. I have to use aout due to vendor supplied libs. I get a unrecognized executabe error. Is there a way to make gdb work? I have tried copying a copy of gdb from a 2.2.6 machine (while I did not expect this to work it did recognize the binnary but it did not work) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
