Maybe dump isn't my solution.... I tried flexbackup, but it seems that the Table of contents isn't stored on the tape. This isn't good, and this is why I can't use amanda either. I need to be able to do just a simple dump every night (any tape), and compare what is on the tape with what is on the hard drive and then send me an email with success or fail, and the details of the errors.
