If you want to copy the CD to a file on HDD before writing the image, # dd if=/dev/wcd0c of=/usr/win95iso/image # cdrecord dev=0,3,0 -speed=4 -v -isosize /usr/win95iso/image However, you should be able to just, # cdrecord dev=0,3,0 -speed=4 -v -isosize /dev/wcd0c But only do this with the original CD unmounted and do not otherwise try to access it. -- Crist J.
