Hello all,
I've got a problem configuring a new pcmcia ethernet adpater on my
laptop.
If the system boots with the adpater in, after pccardd recognizes the
card, and pccard_ethers run, the laptop display will freeze. If I
remove the card and re-insert it, the system then works properly.
Anyone have any idea what's causing this?
Some details:
Laptop: Toshiba Portege 700ct
Ethernet: 3com OfficeConnect (uses ep driver)
BIOS set for Cardbus/16 bit (PCIC compatible mode is ***SLOW***)
