It is on a NIS domain server by a sunos 5.7 box. It binds to the domain, and i can finger any user within that domain. However, i cannot telnet in to the box with a NIS user, i can only telnet in with a locally created account. I think it is a problem with PAM, but have been unable to find any documentation on how i might either: a) turn off pam completely, or b)allow pam to use NIS for authentication. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Sean Shilton __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
